Bob Nightengale of USA Today tweets that the Cardinals have no plans to jump back into the outfield trade market, however.
JULY 29: Cardinals outfielder Matt Holliday left tonight’s action with a right quadriceps injury, Kevin Modelski of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. It remains unclear at present how serious the injury is, though it occurred to the same muscle that Holliday tore.
