Though there are plenty of factors in what will make or break the St. Louis Blues this season, the biggest key to success is Paul Stastny in the 2015-2016 season.
Stastny’s role will be much bigger this upcoming season as the departure of T.J. Oshie and David Backes potentially moving to right wing opens the number one center position. Line combinations are still up in the air, but it is pretty much a sure thing that Stastny will not find himself in a third line role again this season.
Despite what most NHL fans believe, the $7-million-Stastny didn’t actually have that bad of a year last season.
