Rumblings: Who was Blues GM Doug Armstrong scouting?

Some people raised their eyebrows when St. Louis Blues general manager Doug Armstrong took in a pair of games in Columbus and a game in Pittsburgh this past weekend -- and none of the three games involved his own team.

But keep in mind, Armstrong is the GM of Team Canada for the World Cup of Hockey, so that largely explains his presence.

The same goes for the rest of the Team Canada management staff, so from time to time you’ll see the likes of Bob Murray (Anaheim), Marc Bergevin (Montreal), Ken Holland (Detroit) and Rob Blake (Los Angeles) at NHL games not involving their own team.
