Wild are happy to be home after split in St. Louis

ST. PAUL, MINN. • Even though the Wild haven’t won on their home ice since March 28, they’re very happy to be home with their first-round series with the Blues even at 1-1.

It’s been two weeks since the Wild played at Xcel Energy Center. They closed the regular season with three games on the road and then opened the playoffs with two games on the road. The split in St. Louis gave the Wild home-ice advantage for the series.

“It was important for us to go there and get that one game,” left winger Zach Parise said.
