Yesterday, my good friend Matt from The Cannon e-mailed me with questions stemming from this gem of a rumor that was floated at the draft Friday night: Kevin Shattenkirk as trade bait. Someone must've said something to Edmonton writers because immediately they began to hypothesize about what it would take to get an actual real-live defenseman on their team.
I can't blame them, to be honest. Many teams would love a defenseman of Shattenkirk's caliber.
