St. Louis Blues head coach Ken Hitchcock gave a pretty hilarious interview earlier on Tuesday after the news broke that he had signed a new one-year contract behind the St. Louis Bench. He covered, among other things, why the new contract between him and Blues GM, Doug Armstrong, took so long to come to fruition (apparently he was sad after losing and wanted to chill by himself), what his favorite platitudes are (all of them) and what kind of fruit roll-up is his favorite.
I’m not sure about the last one; it was all I could do to keep myself awake after the platitudes section.
