Bluenotes: Blues lose Lehtera to lower-body injury

The Blues fashioned a healthy lineup heading into the postseason, but four games into their first-round series against Minnesota, they are dealing with their first injury.

Center Jori Lehtera did not play in Game 5 Friday night at Scottrade Center, missing the game with a lower-body injury. He was a hit by a shot from teammate Jay Bouwmeester in the third period of the Blues’ 6-1 win over the Wild in Game 4 Wednesday in Minnesota.

The Blues did not practice Thursday. After Friday’s morning skate, coach Ken Hitchcock said that Lehtera could not have suited up if the teams had played Thursday and that he was “50-50” at best for Game 5.
