Zytara plans to launch banking platform for gamers in 2021

North American financial technology company Zytara has announced its intentions to launch a digital banking platform for gamers and esports fans.

Set to launch in early 2021, the first-of-its-kind platform will offer financial solutions that will be ‘deeply embedded into the gaming culture’, according to Zytara.

In collaboration with Zytara’s bank partners, the platform will offer a range of services, including a checking and savings account alongside access to a virtual and physical debit card. The Zytara mobile application will also offer integrated payments for gaming tournaments, parental controls, and player-to-player transfers.

Al Burgio, Founder and CEO of Zytara, spoke on the launch in a release: “Esports may still be maturing but as the industry is growing in force and reach, it doesn’t have a dedicated and tailored to gamers banking and payment processing solution.
