Florida-based esports organisation Misfits Gaming Group (MGG) has launched the ‘Women of Misfits’ platform to mentor and inspire women in the sports and gaming industries.
The Women of Misfits platform includes a monthly speaker series with ‘industry leaders and visionaries’ which will be broadcast on MGG’s YouTube channel. Moderated by MGG executives, the sessions will focus on mentorship, development, networking, and advocacy.
Confirmed speakers include pro tennis player Chris Evert, comedian and YouTube personality GloZell Green, and the first black woman to serve as a professional baseball coach, Bianca Smith.
