Indonesian Soccer Promoted With ASTARK’s Augmented Reality Trading Card Gaming App

Augmented reality, in its many forms, is spreading across the globe. Indonesian startup ASTARK recently launched the country’s first soccer gaming app with augmented reality trading cards. ASTARK: Football features 30 of the best soccer players and coaches in Indonesia.

The app was created by ASTARK — whose founder is 24-year-old Indonesian professional soccer player Arthur Irawan, who recently signed with Persija Jakarta — and development company AR&Co.

New users begin with a squad of default athletes that can be used to challenge the computer as well as friends online. The results of these matches determine your overall record which is measured in the left-hand corner of the homepage.
