NEW YORK — After New York Knicks coach Jeff Hornacek met with the media before the game at Madison Square Garden, NBA Digital and NextVR distributed headsets in the press conference room to showcase the upcoming virtual reality broadcast.
Viewers would find that even though Hornacek was now on the sideline, he still seemed just the reach of an arm away. As if seated from the sideline at scorer’s table at midcourt, those who watched the VR broadcast could see Hornacek yapping at an official after being called for a second-quarter technical foul.
