1. Done in the Desert
Following Wednesday’s defeat to the New England Revolution, the Desert Diamond Cup crown is out of reach for Sporting Kansas City heading into the final matchday on Saturday. Peter Vermes’ men will square off against New York City FC in their preseason finale at 4:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, having gone 1-3-1 so far in their preparations for the 2017 MLS season.
