According to several reports, former FC Kansas City and U.S. Women’s National Team star Lauren Holiday underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor. Holiday gave birth to her and husband Jrue Holiday’s baby daughter last month. They had decided to wait for their daughter to be born before having the tumor removed.
The tumor was reportedly a benign meninjioma, located on the outer covering of the brain but near the orbital cavity.
Holiday played with FC Kansas City for three years, winning two NWSL Championships and numerous personal awards. She also a big part of the U.
