We’ve reached the first international break of 2017, and while there are three MLS games this weekend, most eyes will be focused on national team games. Sporting Kansas City themselves have three players on national team duty with Matt Besler and Graham Zusi with the US team and Roger Espinoza with Honduras, but a number of former players have also received call ups to national teams.
Espinoza is joined by two former Sporting players, Ever Alvarado and Jorge Claros for Honduras’ games against the United States and Costa Rica. In other World Cup qualifiers, Daneil Cyrus was called up by Trinidad for their qualifiers against Panama and Mexico.
