HATTIESBURG – Doc Sadler challenged his best forward Leonard Harper-Baker Friday afternoon during the team’s routine film study as they prepared for UAB Saturday.
“I told him,” Sadler said. “I said ‘If we’re going to win the game, you have to take on (UAB senior Lewis Sullivan) and beat him.’”
The junior from Detroit didn’t disappoint. He put together his first career double-double, finishing with 17 points and 10 rebounds in a 73-68 win over UAB.
