The Southern Miss football team has generated a massive amount of buzz this week simply by hanging out in the locker room.

Senior defensive back Cornell Armstrong recorded teammate Raymond Smith Jr., a redshirt sophomore walk-on running back from Pensacola, Florida, rapping in front of his teammates. Armstrong posted the 100-second clip of Smith’s smooth, flowing delivery of lyrics he wrote on Twitter Tuesday.

The tweet went viral almost immediately. The clip — which has since been commissioned by popular Instagram accounts such as Bleacher Report, House of Highlights and Hurdles — has been viewed more than 1.
