Eagles fall to Alabama Jaguars, 78 -55

The Southern Miss Golden Eagles (3-2) lost their second game of the season against the South Alabama Jaguars (6-1) by a score of 78 – 55 Wednesday Nov. 30 at Reed Green Coliseum.

In the midst of a two-game winning streak and a 3 – 1 start to the regular season, the Golden Eagles could not maintain their early-season momentum against South Alabama.

“The bottom line is, we just got our butt kicked,” said Head Coach Doc Sadler. “They were better than us in every area.”

Offensively, the team could not connect from three, shooting just 20 percent from the three-point line in the first half.
