After winning the Lady Eagle Thanksgiving Classic, the Lady Eagles extended their win streak to three games beating Mississippi Valley State, 83-55.
The Lady Eagles found themselves in an early hole, 6-2. Once the Lady Eagles settled in, they went on a 19-4 run that helped end the first quarter with a 25-10 lead.
“We did a great job of executing our gameplan we put a lot of pressure on the ball [which] resulted in a lot of easy shots,” said Head Coach Joye Lee-McNelis. “We shared the basketball. It was just fun for ten minutes.”
Despite stumbling early in the game, MVSU slowly began trying to claw their way back going on a 12-4 run to help them narrow the score at 34-22.
