Liverpool legend John Aldridge is tipping Virgil van Dijk to go on strike at Southampton to force through a move to Anfield.
The Merseysiders have long coveted the Dutch defender and were widely expected to launch a big-money bid for him this summer.
But they had to make an embarrassing public apology after being accused of tapping up Van Dijk by the Saints earlier this month and announced they had decided to drop their interest.
Aldridge, though, insists it is not the end of the transfer saga as he believes the 25-year-old WILL seal a switch to Jurgen Klopp' side.
