Matt Le Tissier says he had 'naked massage' at hands of alleged abuser Bob Higgins

Former Southampton footballer Matt Le Tissier has claimed he was given a 'naked massage' by alleged abuser Bob Higgins.

Higgins, 63 – who denies any wrongdoing – was a successful coach and scout at the club in the 1980s and helped bring through star players including striker Alan Shearer.

Hampshire Police confirmed they had launched an investigation into allegations of historic sexual abuse against children last week, although the force has not formally named Higgins as a suspect.
