Lawrie McMenemy has admitted he has been left 'disgusted and horrified' by suggestions that sexual abuse occurred at Southampton.
McMenemy, who managed the Saints between 1973 and 1985, set up the coaching system that it is alleged scout Bob Higgins used to abuse young children.
Southampton icon Matt Le Tissier admitted earlier this week that he had been forced to undergo naked massages as a youth player.
And McMenemy discussed his admiration of those who had come out to reveal the abuse they had faced.
