'It was a good first step for him': Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl pleased for 'Che McAdams' after successful start to life with Scotland

Scotland first asked Che Adams to play for them four years ago and Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl is delighted Steve Clarke finally got his man last week.

The Leicester-born Saints striker with a Scottish grandparent and is a former England under-20 international and initially resisted repeated calls from north of the border.

But he scored his first international goal in Scotland's World Cup qualifier against Faroe Islands on Wednesday night and is now a fully paid up member of the Tartan Army.
