TAMPA (March 12, 2024) – The University of South Florida sailing team placed tenth overall in the Jen Harris Women's Team Race Regatta while racing in terrible weather conditions two weekends in a row.
Against stiff competition at the Naval Academy, the Bulls ended up drawing the short straw. The Jen Harris Women's Team Race Regatta hosted by Navy had 12 teams competing. Saturday's racing featured drenching rain with 50 degree temperatures the entire day. One full round robin was completed and USF ended the day with a 3/8 record, tied with host Navy for 9th, but again losing the tie-breaker.
