South Florida Bulls men’s basketball associate head coach Tom Herrion remains on administrative leave as the investigation into racially charged comments allegedly made by Herrion continues, The Daily Stampede has learned.
“[Tom] Herrion remains on administrative leave, and the review process is ongoing,” a USF official told TDS. “He is not actively participating in any team functions or recruiting.”
Reports surfaced back on March 18 that Herrion had made multiple racially charged comments to at least one Black player on the team, and he was placed on leave as the school looked into the matter.
