USF defensive end LaDarrius Jackson was arrested Monday night on charges of sexual battery and false imprisonment.

USF defensive end LaDarrius Jackson was arrested on campus at 10:38 p.m. Monday on charges of sexual battery and false imprisonment. He is currently being held in jail without bond.

According to a police report obtained by the Tampa Bay Times, Jackson forced a women to perform sex despite her efforts to resist him. The incident took place at around 2:30 p.m. in a dorm on campus. Afterwards, the victim immediately contacted housing staff, who got her into contact with police.

According to Capt. Mike Klingbiel of the USF Police Department, Jackson was about to catch a flight at Tampa International Airport where he was contacted by authorities, detained, and taken into custody.
