TAMPA (March 21, 2024) – The USF women's sailing team will travel to Boston to compete in the Duplin Women's Team Race this weekend, March 23-24.
After spring break and a well-deserved weekend off, the starters are rested and ready for competition once again. The Duplin Women's Team Race is an important event as it will be held on the Charles River in Boston this year. This is the same venue as the National Championships in May, and experience sailing on this legendarily shifty river is crucial.
Sailing for USF will be seniors Emma Shakespeare and Hannah Marsicano, juniors Kay Brunsvold, Kalea Woodard, Heidi Hicks and Janie Powell, and freshman Kailey Warrior.
