TULSA, OK, March 17, 2024 – The University of South Florida softball team (22-11, 2-4 AAC) fell to the Tulsa Golden Hurricane (18-8, 5-1 AAC) on Sunday afternoon with a final score of 6-1.
Tulsa took the early 3-0 lead in the second inning off three singles, a double, and a South Florida error.
The Bulls got on the board in the fourth inning. Two walks and a fielder's choice put one runner in scoring position. (Tampa) hit a deep ball to center field to bring (Sugarloaf, Pa.) across the plate.
Tulsa added to its lead in the fourth and fifth innings.
