One person was killed early Thursday when their car went out of control along Interstate 95 and was hit by a second vehicle.
The crash happened about 5 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the highway just west of I-95.
According to Florida Highway Patrol Sgt. Mark Wysocky, the driver of a white car heading west on I-595 lost control of the vehicle causing it to veer across several lanes of traffic before hitting a wall on the north side of the roadway. As that car came off the wall, it was struck in the back by a dark-colored car, Wysocky said.
