TAMPA (Feb. 25, 2017) – Kalen McGill tossed a six-inning, complete-game shutout and the USF offense exploded for a seven-run sixth inning, leading to a 10-0 victory over Colgate.
McGill threw the first complete game of the season for any USF pitcher, picking up her second win of the season. The junior allowed just three hits and one walk, while facing just four over the minimum.
The offense exploded in the sixth inning, taking advantage of free bases to give USF (8-4) the run-rule victory. The Bulls loaded the bases with no outs on a hit-by-pitch, walk, and error.
