TAMPA, MAY 5, 2017 – Standout USF women's basketball forward Maria Jespersen (Arhus, Denmark) was honored for her classroom work Friday, when she was named the Outstanding Student among USF's spring 2018 graduating civil engineering class.
An honorable-mention AP and WBCA All-American who helped lead USF women's basketball team to 26 wins, Jespersen was honored during an event recognizing the spring graduates from the USF College of Engineering at the Marshall Student Center on campus. The Outstanding Student in Civil Engineering award is given to graduating seniors who have stellar academic records and participation in university, college, and student organizations.
