USF senior Roberto Cid has been named American Athletic Conference men's tennis player of the year for the third season in a row.
The Bulls men's tennis team achieved a three-peat Thursday -- in tandem.
For the third season in a row, both Coach Matt Hill and No. 1 singles player Roberto Cid were named American Athletic Conference coach and player of the year, respectively. The awards were voted on by the league's coaches.
The Bulls (20-8), ranked 16th by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), recently captured their third conference tournament title in a row.
