Former USF Goalkeeper Makes History in Spain

PARIS (June 23, 2017)— Paris Saint-Germaine, a club in the highest tier of French soccer, recently became the first top 10 European team to make a transfer payment to a Spanish club for a female player.

PSG will pay around 30,000 Euro to Valencia for Chilean Christiane Endler. The goalkeeper spent two years at USF before moving on to professional soccer, and has since captained the Chilean national team, and been named Iberdrola League Goalkeeper of the Year.

Endler has helped the women's Valencia team finish third in their league, and reach the semifinals of the Queen's Cup.
