The Tampico, Mexico native scored in the 62nd minute to give USF a 1-0 lead over the Bears. On an assist by sophomore Jessica Hamrick, Ferral beat three Baylor defenders to punch the ball in the lower corner of the net.
In the second overtime period, Ferral assisted on Olivia Chance’s game-winning goal to help secure the victory.
Chance was named to the weekly honor roll for scoring the golden goal in the 102nd minute to give USF the win.
