TAMPA, Fla. (Oct. 20, 2016) – Twelve opponents that reached the 2016 NCAA softball tournament, five Super Regional teams and the national runner-up highlight an impressive 2017 USF Softball schedule, head coach Ken Eriksen announced Thursday.
The Bulls will face four NCAA tournament teams, three Super Regional teams and one Women’s College World Series team in the first two weekends of play. USF will also face six opponents that reached last season’s NCAA tournament in the first month of action.
The season opens at home with the USF-Wilson DeMarini Tournament, Feb. 9-12. Opening day is set with a 6 p.
