Cincinnati uses big second half to upend South Florida 88-57

CINCINNATI -- Troy Caupain finished with 18 points and a career-high 10 assists while Gary Clark added 16 points and 13 boards as Cincinnati used a strong second half to beat South Florida 88-57 Thursday night.

Clark's collected double digits in rebounds in five of the last nine games.

The Bearcats led 36-29 at the half. Out of the break, Farad Cobb hit a 3, Octavius Ellis made a layup and a three-point play by Clark made it 44-31 with 17:42 remaining. The lead swelled to 59-32 after Caupain made two free throws.
