Cid Becomes Two-Time All-American

TULSA, Okla., May 26, 2016 – Roberto Cid was named an All-American for the second time in his illustrious career as he advanced to the round of 16 at the NCAA Singles Tournament.

To be an All-American, athletes must reach the round of 16, be a top 16 seed in the tournament or finished ranked in the top 20 of the ITA rankings. Cid, who was the No. 2 seed, automatically earned All-American honors at the start of the tournament.

Facing off against Mazen Osama of Alabama, Cid dominated his competition in the first set with an impressive 6-0 victory.
