In all, USF has nine current and former Bulls players and coaches that have represented their countries in multiple international competitions this summer.
“For USF softball to bring back a gold medal, four silver medals, and two bronze medals says a lot about how many elite level athletes we have coming through the program. I just wish they could all play on the same team at USF every year,” USF and USA National Team head coach Ken Eriksen said.
“I think it also shows that we have young players in Astin Donovan (USA Junior National Team) and Lauren Evans (Great Britain National Team) that are of that caliber.
