Bulls men's golf team wins conference crown

After a sluggish outset in Sunday's opening round, the Bulls men's golf team roared back for a dominant triumph at the American Athletic Conference Tournament at Lecanto's Black Diamond Ranch.

The Bulls, ranked 13th nationally by Golfweek, applied the finishing flourish to their second consecutive league crown with a 10-under-par team score Tuesday. Their three-day, 19-under 845 was 20 strokes better than runner-up Memphis.

The final results can be found here. After shooting 5-over collectively after the tournament's first four holes, the Bulls shot 24-under over the final 50.

Bulls senior Aksel Olsen shot a 3-under 69 on Tuesday and finished 7-under for the tournament to win medalist honors by a stroke.
