TAMPA, APRIL 26, 2017 – The University of South Florida baseball team dropped a 6-0 matchup to Stetson on Wednesday.
It was a real pitcher's duel between the Bulls (32-9, 7-5 American) and the Hatters (19-25, 8-4 ASUN) for the first four innings, as no side was able to score.
Stetson broke through in the fifth with a pair of runs. The Hatters pulled away with three more runs in the seventh and another in the eighth.
The Bulls put a pair of baserunners aboard in the sixth, seventh and ninth innings but the Stetson arms worked out of each jam to earn the midweek win.
