Peter Bertran has transferred in from the University of Georgia and will be eligible to compete for the Bulls next season as a sophomore. The 5-foot-11, right-handed player posted a combined record of 18-6 last season and Hill is happy to have Bertran join the talented roster at USF.
“We’re super excited about him,” Hill said. “He’s one of the best players in all of the Dominican Republic and he’s been friends with Roberto Cid for a long time.”
Aside from his collegiate experience, Bertran has put together a solid tennis resume on the international circuit.
