Two scholarships remain available at USF this preseason, and the way things have transpired since spring drills, one of them might -- just might -- have Mak Djulbegovic's four-syllable last name on it.
A senior who starred at Carrollwood Day, Djulbegovic (6-foot-5 1/2, 290 pounds) continued taking first-team snaps at right tackle Saturday before lightning forced the Bulls inside after roughly 70 minutes. He entered the 2015 preseason with only two career starts after playing primarily on special teams last fall.
"I thought (Djulbegovic) did outstanding in the spring, and...when spring ended he was probably playing the best out of all our offensive linemen," first-year offensive line coach Danny Hope said.
