Hillary Clinton goes after Jeb Bush in Fort Lauderdale speech; he doesn't take the bait

FORT LAUDERDALE — Hillary Clinton presented herself Friday as someone who is keenly aware of the economic challenges and racism confronting African-Americans in their daily lives — and used an appearance before the National Urban League to take some pointed shots at Jeb Bush.

He didn't take the bait, saying simply that he was "pleased to see the other candidates here as well."

The last of five presidential candidates appearing before the Urban League at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center, Bush depicted himself as someone who's increased opportunities for African-Americans and said his plans to overhaul education and dramatically increase economic growth would produce vast improvements for everyone.
