South Carolina basketball coaches Frank Martin and Dawn Staley were each awarded new contracts on Friday by a unanimous vote from the USC Board of Trustees.
Martin’s contract was extended one year through the 2022-23 season, and if Martin stays at USC through the life of the deal, he would make $3.3 million in the final year. Staley’s contract was extended four years through the 2024-25 season, and she would make $2.1 million in the final year of the contract.
Martin would owe USC $4 million if he left after next season, while Staley would owe $3.
