The Tigers continue to add to what presently is the nation’s top class. This time, Les Miles landed four-star athlete Devin White from Springhill (La.) North Webster. White (6 feet, 258 pounds) starred at both linebacker and running back in high school. White, a national top-100 prospect, committed to LSU over Ole Miss, FSU, Arkansas and Alabama.
Offensively, White is — no surprise — a downhill runner at his best between the tackles. At linebacker, White is a terrific defender in the box. He is LSU’s 20th commitment.
