South Carolina received its first commitment for 2018 on Monday, from three-star athlete Darius Rush.
“It was a perfect decision,” Rush told GN. “They have great academics and they have great facilities. South Carolina has always been my home. I’ve been a Gamecock since I was little. My family has gone there, and it just felt like home.”
Rush (6 feet 2, 172 pounds), from Greeleyville (S.C.) C. E. Murray, is one of the top-20 prospects in South Carolina in the class of 2018.
Rush was offered by South Carolina on January 25 and committed just over one month later.
