South Carolina’s depth-shy secondary could be getting some help from a player Gamecocks coach Will Muschamp signed when he was at Florida.
SportsTalkSC.com reported that former Florida cornerback J.C. Jackson could be on his way to Columbia. Jackson currently is enrolled at Riverside (Calif.) CC, but could graduate this summer and be eligible this fall.
Jackson, who was an Under Armour All-American game selection from Immokalee (Fla.) High, signed with Florida in 2014. He redshirted that fall after undergoing shoulder surgery. But he was dismissed from the team in 2015 after being charged with armed robbery.
