The South Carolina Gamecocks took care of business on the home floor, winning 68-50 over Vermont. In the first of a two game home stand, the win moves the Gamecocks to 7-0 on the season.
After trading baskets earlier in the game, the Gamecocks were able to seize control in the final minutes of the half. With a 43-32 lead at halftime, and a solid defensive performance in the second half, only giving up 18 points, the Gamecocks were able to win easily.

The Gamecocks were led by PJ Dozier as he scored a season high 21 points.
