South Alabama conducts first scrimmage of fall camp

MOBILE, Ala. – Two days after putting full pads on for the first time in fall camp, South Alabama conducted its first scrimmage Saturday morning at the Jaguar Training Center.

South ran 102 plays during the two-plus hour session before head coach Kane Wommack, as well safety Jalen Jordan, defensive lineman Wy'Kevious Thomas, wide receiver Javon Ivory and quarterback Carter Bradley met with the media following the scrimmage.

South is scheduled to hold its second scrimmage next Saturday at the Jaguar Training Center, which is closed to the general public.
