MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama Athletic Performance staff promotions and assignments for the 2023-24 academic year have been announced by Senior Associate Athletic Director Jinni Frisbey.
David Ventress, hired in November 2021 as the Director of Men's Basketball and Men's Tennis Athletic Performance, has been promoted to Director of Olympic Athletic Performance. Ventress designs and implements the strength and conditioning programs for men's basketball and men's tennis.
Berron Tyson served as Intern Director of Athletic Performance for Track and Field 2022-2023, and was recently promoted to Director of Athletic Performance for Women's Basketball and Track and Field (sprinters/jumpers/vaulters).
