South Alabama athletics director Joel Erdmann expressed disappointment Monday after the school's under-construction football practice facility collapsed over the weekend.
The cause of the incident, which occurred at around 2:15 p.m. Saturday, remains under investigation. According to a university statement issued later that day, no workers were present at the time of the collapse, and no one was injured.
